Description

Ready-to-use alcohol-based skin antiseptic with at least 24 hours of long-term effect. Ideal for skin disinfection before surgical procedures, blood sampling, injections, punctures, biopsies and wound or suture care. Kodan Tincture Forte is particularly convincing due to its broad antiseptic spectrum of activity (bactericidal incl. mycobacteria and MRSA, fungicidal, limited virucidal incl. HIV, HBV, HCV, HSV).

Application:
Apply undiluted before all invasive procedures, spray affected skin area or apply with a soaked swab, ensure complete use of skin and observe exposure time. Absorb excess preparation to avoid puddle formation. For preoperative skin antisepsis, mechanically trim or chemically remove hair from the affected skin site. Basic preoperative washing is recommended. To avoid smudging of skin markings, use only skin marking pens with adequate alcohol resistance.
